Instructions
Mix the first four ingredients thoroughly and let it rise in the refrigerator for about 12 hours.
After that, remove the dough from the refrigerator well in advance to ensure that it isn’t too cold. Add salt, cheese, sesame seeds, and flour. The drier the cheese, the less flour you’ll need. Mix well and let it rise in a greased mixing bowl covered with tin foil until the dough has doubled in size.
Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan. Leave the sesame seeds to cool before mixing the dough.
When the dough is ready, carefully shape into round loaves. After the loaves have risen for thirty minutes, flour and gently make incisions on top of the loaves before placing them in the oven.
Initial Oven Temperature: 450°F (230°C)
Put the bread in the oven and reduce the temperature to 400°F (210°C). Bake for about 30 minutes.
