Whisk the apple juice with the maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and whiskey. Stir in the rosemary, onion and garlic.
Place the steak in a resealable plastic bag. Then, pour in the whiskey mixture. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
Remove the steak from the marinade. Be sure to shake off the excess marinade from it.
Transfer the remaining marinade to a saucepan and set it aside.
Season the steak on both sides with pepper and salt.
Turn the grill on. Select the program and press. Make sure to lightly grease the cooking plates with cooking spray.
Once the purple indicator light has stopped flashing, place the steak on the grill and close the lid.
Cook until the indicator light has changed to the color of your desired level of cooking. Red for well done, orange for medium and yellow for rare.
Transfer the steak to a cutting board and cover with foil. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
